December 13, 200619 yr It depends if you want defence bonuses or mage attack bonuses. Splitbark has more defence then mystic, but mystic has more magic bonuses. (I believe) When sperm whales mate, 3/4 of the sperm goes into the sea, not his mate.Thats why sea water tastes funny
December 13, 200619 yr Splitbark provides a much better melee defence bonus, while mystic gives better magic bonus. Mystic actually gives NO MELEE DEFENCE BONUS WHATSOEVER. Mystic gives a better offencive mage bonus. Splitbark lowers range attack - mystic does not. Sig credit goes to ThruItAll. :D

December 13, 200619 yr personally I would always choose mystic, it has a better mage offensive and that is all that matters. the defense of the splitbark armor is really not worth it, if you are fighting against a warrior with a decent attack lvl he is going to hit you anyway. its better to avoid getting hit by freezing/snaring/KILLING your oponent before they get to you :P Jeebe's RuneScape Tools
