Farming question

After you do the "My Arm's Big Adventure" quest, you get a disease free herb patch. I was wondering, at this patch, if you use super compost on it before you put the seed in, does it affect the herb count afterwards?

From my experience with it, yes, it still affects the herb count. My first seed I planted in it without super compost, I only got 4. The next one, I used supercompost, and I got my usual 7.

Could be wrong though - after all, I only did the super-compost-less one once.

Wierd, I planted 2 ranarr seeds without super compost, and got 4 ranarrs on each one. I just planted one with supercompost, I'll put up the results tomorrow.

I think it's constant on what you get. I've done super compost-less 3 times, got 4 each time, but when I did use super compost, I got 7 each time.
