Recently I was permanently banned for a long past offence of hosting a false drop party for fun. I'd like you to critique what I sent to Jagex as an appeal. Keep in mind that I have never broken any rules before now, and have had a green flag for all two years of my playing. For some reason or other my account, pissant22, is still in the highscores.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Here is my appeal:

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

"After reading rule 2 extensively, I have come to the conclusion that this offence is incorrect. The summary of my offence is that I was having a false drop party. This drop party was in the spirit of fun, and nobody lost any items, nor did I intend them to. While in retrospect I realize that this was a mistake, what I did was for fun, was NOT a scam, and therefore is NOT a breach of rule 2."

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

What do you think the chances of success are?

 

 

 

On a side note, please don't flame me, I'm rather bitter right now, and am more than likely inclined to flame you back.

well it is true that it isn't considered scamming, but part of the rule also says not to decieve other people, which this technically would be.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

But i'm pretty sure ppl get really annoyed when people do fake drop parties, i know i do.

I'm going to guess that they might un ban you, but you'll still have at least 1 black mark.

On a very happy note, I have been unbanned, and all blackmarks have been removed from my account. This is the second perm ban I've successfully appealed, and I don't intend to give Jagex a reason for a third.
