Where to train on members?

Featured Replies

I just got members and don't have any idea on where to train combat skills.

I tried pest control, but we kept loosing all the time.

My stats are: 60 att, 55 def, 56 str, 60 hits

If anyone got an idea on where I should train, it would be greatly appreciated

Either train on rock crabs (east of relleka) or experiments (in a cave near the fishing guild) until you have 90 combat, then join a pc group and do that until 126 combat :)

I should say experiments, they have 100 hitpoints and they rarely hit you so no food needed :D .

Just to clear one thing up:

The experiments are found in morytania and you need to complete the "Priest in Peril" quest, "Restless Ghost for the ghostspeak ammy and you need to have started the "Creature of Frenkenstein" quest.

You don't need to complete that one and you don't need the thieving req to get to the experiments.

Start with the Star Amulet part and then use that star amulet on the grave(explained in detail in tip.it guide).

I'll confess that I've never trained on Experiments, but an awful lot of folks seem to.

Keep in mind, Experiments don't drop anything. They're just really easy to kill and get combat XP. I think that if you're just going to kill for XP, why not do Pest Control? Sooner or later, after winning 100 Pest Control games, you'll get a bonus level in a skill of your choice.

But if you want drops at your level (without quest requirements), I'd recommend Level 13 Chaos Druids in the "Members Dungeon", just west of Falador, South of Taverly. They die easily, drop lots and lots of herbs, as well as law and nature runes. You need 5 agility, though to get over the crumbled wall at Falador west to make banking them quicker. Otherwise, the trip to Falador bank takes twice as long.

If you do go after Chaos Druids, I recommend also getting at least 11 Herblore. That way, you can ID Guams, Marrentil and Tarromin, and drop them if you ID them. This way, you're bringing back higher-level Unidentified herbs, which will be worth more, and you can probably get 1-1.5K for each unidentified herb.

I use the ogres in the arddy dungeon. They are close to a bank, and drop seeds and big bones.

Ogres do have good drops (especially if you're a farmer), but as level 53 monsters, they may be a bit more than a level 66 could handle. At least without using a decent amount of food.

On the other hand, there is that handy cake stall over there, for free food...
