Prevent Scamming ~ 5 Second Delay

Featured Replies

Or, people could have enough intelligence to check the second trade screen. It really isn't that hard. The second trade screen in it's self, is a scam prevention. Just take 5 seconds to check the screen BEFORE you click accept. Honestly, it's not that hard.

Agreed. 5 second delay would just slow down trade. Seriously, if people don't want to get scammed, they should help themselves and check the screen themselves. Personally I think if someone gets scammed because they didnt check the screen... they'll learn a lesson from it and it won't happen again. Nowadays people are playing RS at a faster and faster pace. I don't think a delay would be welcomed.

This faster pace your talking of is exactly whatcauses scams, 5 seconds isnt a long time out of your life, and it itsaves 20,000 people from getting scammed im all for it, i have been trade scammed multiple times, when tired or drunk and if the trade screen had a delay it wouldnt happen.

i like the idea alot....and people are talking about to lazy to look at the second trade screen??????? its 5 seconds cmon thats lazyness right there not wanting to wait for 5 seconds of ur life lol

Laziness isnt the same as being impatient. Not looking at the second trade screen however, is both, not wanting to wait is just impatience.

There's no such thing as regret. A regret means you are unhappy with the person you are now,

and if you're unhappy with the person you are, you change yourself. That

regret will no longer be a regret, because it will help to form the new,

better you. So really, a regret isn't a regret.

It's experience.

WHICH IS WHY you check the trade screen. Don't play if you're tired or drunk. Anyway it's a computer game. Nothing I'd call important. So just learn to check it, it's not a hard thing to do.
