It works like a gigantic ring of recoil, except that instead of doing 1 or 2 damage to you, it does about 75% of the damage back to you (so if you hit him for 20, the vengeance spell would automatically hit you for around 15). December 22, 200619 yr I assume this is automatically said when using the spell with good effect? (like reading a god book). I once saw this too while being hit by an lvl126 pker.. I suspect many melee pkers with a good magelvl use this spell?
