I just got a shiny new set of full guthans to help me with slayer. My new task is 166 gargoyles.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

I've got low defense (70) but high combat stats otherwise (78 attack, 92 str, 67 prayer).

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Will my guthans heal me fast enough at the gargoyles? Or should I stick with my old range/hally methods for these guys?

dont hally gargoyles, guthans and using a whip is effective, whip for damage and guthans for healing, also dont range either since you need to be close to use the rock hammer

i ranged a few task of gargoyles in the past.. Was never a problem for me, allthough my def was probably over 70 then..
