I have had some Christmas awkwardness but its not religious. ( my family has a strong belief in God and are devout Christians so there are no problems with that.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

This was the first year of Christmas with my parents separated and it was kinda awkward not having one of them around. Especially when we saw extended family from each parents side. :|

I don't really like this time of the year. All of my dad's family is muslim (most of my dads family is in europe, except a brother), and all of my moms family is christian catholic(who are also mostly in europe). Yippie. Mixed breed.

I don't know, I never had to choose even though my dad is christian or mom is buddist. Nothing was ever forced upon me. Christmas is just a holiday for me.

You shouldn't feel forced to "choose a side". Live your life and choose the one that suits you -- that's what religion is supposed to be, eh? You'll often find that things like religion and identity come with time and not with a decision.
