Dunno... Because it becomes less rare :D Nha, But the price of full guthix has dropped too... That's because it has become less rare but it isnt very rare actually. I remember the good old times when you got iron for 50 ea and coal for 100 ea.

It jumped because of the skill capes coming out. Fletching is one of the easiest capes to get so people went for that. The demand went up, and supply stayed constant, causing the prices to raise. Simple economics really.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

And the prices of Dragon Bones and Green D'hides going down is a result of both autoers and this new Chinese RS Slave thing. There's an article on it somewhere here on Tip.It.

blue hides not green, my problem is that i range blue dragons occasionally for some cash and i want to alch to 80 magic

Oh, well I guess the same would go for Blue Dragons. I'm not sure, but it's probably the same deal.

Yews havn't droped from 300 to 220 maybe 250-280 not 220 if people are buying your yews at 220 there merchanting them, the reason why they went down a little is bacause the autoers, you look on the felchting part of the runescape form people are selling 200k+ yews! now thats like impossible unless they got not lifes and play runescape all day with 99 woodcutting

They didn't go down in price, really. They just starting going back to their original price of around 250-260. They went up because of the introduction of the skill capes; since people wanted a cape, the fletching cape would be best. And people with 200k+ yews have most likely bought them at a low price, and are selling them at a high price. A.K.A. merchanting.

Yews originally (a few years ago) were around 500ea

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

They dropped to 280-300ea about 1-2years ago

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Last summer they dropped by nearly a third in price from the onslaught of autoers to 200-250ea

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

During the end of the summer, sellers of yews began raising their prices to 250-270 since they felt they were not getting a good enough deal

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

At the release of skill capes, yews went to 280 ea, then jumped to 300ea, and have steadily began to lower once again to around 280-300ea, and hopefully can keep at this price.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

And that is the history of yews as good as I remember.
