Everyone does know. And no one cares, even Jagex. They only put that rule down, so people wont complain about being ripped of from sigs and such. And sorry this is very very old news, very old.

It's unlikely sellings sigs for RS money will ever be banned from every single forum. The result of this happening would be a blackmarket of sig selling in "illegal" forums where people buy and sell sigs for RS money the way they have done before.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

There was nother mod reply that said selling and buy sigs for RS money was ok since there is nothing Jagex can do about it. No one is forced to do all this, the buyer WANTS to pay, it's the buyer's money, they can do whatever they want with that.

You know whats funny I just asked them 2 days ago and they sayed ok. Plus the head I belive of customer support came to rv a while back and said it was ok after I got a letter saying no and then chicken asked and got one that said it was ok. Then the person came to rv and said sry and said it was ok.

NOalei, i sorry, but this post was a waste of time, no one cares, no one will EVER care, and like MxM said, jagex cant ban you for it, no reason to. So a mod might as well close this thread, and btw, you go ahead and make that list, Jagex will definatly not care at all, and uh, they probably wont care, your just one of those goodie goodie too shoos that likes to do everything he is told, break the "Rules" for once, and actually i dont think it matters if we sell sigs for RS money :lol:

I may only be a RS Forum mod, but I do know the rules and what they cover to some extent. Selling sigs and avatars is basically like having someone give you some money for nothing. It is not a scam, and the person is totally willing. But, in return, they are getting a little graphic to display. That's all. Sigs are not real world items, being that they are only on the computer, thus in my opinion they should be acceptable merely by a loophole stating REAL world items for RuneScape money. or Vise Versa.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Either way, there is not much Jagex could do to enforce this, as there are thousands of forums that use sigs that have been bought for RS money. They obviously don't want to enforce it either, because if they did they already would have tried shutting down Tip.It's media board.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

And lastly, why are you going to TRY to get us all in to trouble, even when we have not done anything wrong? We can't even be sure YOU didn't pay for that sig that you have right now.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

All this being said, I will proudly state that I have paid for several of my sigs. And it was well worth it.

I hope you plan to reply to that message, and tell them I was told quite differently.

Several people have sent in queries and have been given back replies that selling sigs is alright.
