LGBR
Anyone seen this yet? I thought it wasnt as violent as everyone claimed it to be, but it was still good I still dont get how they can run for that long through the jungle... atleast 12 hours passed in the time The world would be a whole lot better if little green men in UFO's came down to earth to abduct rednecks. Aznhuskarl
I still dont get how they can run for that long through the jungle... atleast 12 hours passed in the time Those prisoners were scared to death and could run for their lives for that long. That movie is just a short story of that "prophecy" and Jaguar Paw's lucky escape. There's nothing much spectacular in here. -=Aznhuskarl=- Cleric-=20Cent=- JuggernaughtMore to come... LGBR
I still dont get how they can run for that long through the jungle... atleast 12 hours passed in the time Those prisoners were scared to death and could run for their lives for that long. That movie is just a short story of that "prophecy" and Jaguar Paw's lucky escape. There's nothing much spectacular in here.It was 1 man who had a large wound that went through and out his entire left side, he was running through the jungle from 6 pissed off people who were all well fed and healthy and managed to stay away from them for atleast 12 hours- he got a couple minute head start The world would be a whole lot better if little green men in UFO's came down to earth to abduct rednecks. Harrington
It's not out here in the UK until next week... looking forward to seeing it though. It's a shame that many people will be reviewing Mel Gibson and not the actual movie itself.
assassin_696
All the reviews i've read about it have made a big fuss about the violence. I think it sounds good though. "Da mihi castitatem et continentam, sed noli modo"
blushenka
It's a shame that many people will be reviewing Mel Gibson and not the actual movie itself. Yes. I'm willing to bet that's why it has a place in the top 10 worst movies of 2006... -.- Even though I haven't seen it I expect it to be nothing short of interesting. I liked Mel Gibson's directing in Passion, I guess that makes me 1 in 10000 but anyway, I'm gonna see this movie and decide for myself about it. "Metal isn't about violence or faggy whiny lyrics. It isn't even about who plays the heaviest and fastest. It is about invoking a sense of wonder and magnitude that no other genre can depict." MyPurpleCrayon
It was an amazing, beautiful, intense movie. I loved it, and I don't love a lot. Ghost: I am prejudice towards ignorance, so that would explain why I appear to be so.

Aznhuskarl
It was an amazing, beautiful, intense movie. I loved it, and I don't love a lot. In overall, the movie has the same directing and movie style from the Passion of the Christ. The story plot isn't not too bad nor too good. The special effects are nice, the climax is good and the acting is okay, but it's not the type of movie that you "have" to see. I would rate and rank that movie among the top 10 or 20s. I've already summarized the entire story plot (the capture and escape of that Mayan villager} at my first post without spoiling it. -=Aznhuskarl=- Cleric-=20Cent=- JuggernaughtMore to come... Harrington
I'm really glad that I completely ignored the reviews now... as I seen this today and thought it was rather good actually. The story was good enough and the characters were excellent. The violence was exaggerated, but still enjoyable. Problem is that too many people are affraid to say "I don't like subtitled movies"... which is probably why many people say they didn't enjoy the movie. Well that, and that people are reviewing Mel Gibson and not his actual movie.

Except you know.. there are those of us that don't care that it's directed by Mel Gibson or that it's subbed but thought the movie was extremely boring with too much slo-mo
sour_tacos
Was it really as violet and gory as all the reviews claimed?
Bubsa
You know, the Mayans are responsible for all the wars in the world. This is how much you all raised for charity. Thank you.
