hey right now im trying to make a "someone choking another person" pose, but for some strange reason, im having a big problem making it. Can someone please illustrate or teach me how to get a nice pose like this done?

"my character will be on the far left of the signature. my knees slightly bent...with my face looking at your screen. however i want my hood to cover my face and to just have glowing yellow eyes...so no details on my face will be necessary. i want my left hand to be holding my opponent in the air by his neck...and my right hand coming up with the rune knife to stab"

That actually looks very good, I had something completely different in my mind.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

You might want to start on the hood now quickly, so you don't get carried away for nothing on the head area.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

I think the right arm might also be a little too long, in relation to the left arm at least.

seems pretty good to me so far. head seems a little small though, and the ear is very elf-like. ( i know the ear wont be seen with the hood on) heres roughly what i would have done with the person being held in the air by the throat. not great, just a quick sketch.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

if ever i have trouble with hands/positioning or whatever, i 'experiment' to find out- like, for the neck holding one, pretend you are the person holding the other in the air. your pixel char is holding with his left hand, his right side closest to the 'viewer' so hold your left hand up and pretend your holding someone by the throat, all youll see of the hand is the thumb. the hand will grip just below the bottom jaw bone.
