Well I got a pet cat a few days ago, after doing the Gertrude's Cat quest. I was pretty pleased and was walking around looking after the fellow, and by the end of the day I was left with a nice, black overgrown cat (it was still uber cute). In all that time I'd been running around on P2P worlds.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Today I got on an F2P world to help a friend with a quest, and as expected, the cat wasn't there, which was fine, since it wasn't supposed to be. But.. when I logged back into a P2P world my kitty was nowhere to be found.. I checked my inventory, my bank.. everywhere (not really much else to list) and I couldn't find it. So.. where'd the kitty go?

I haven't even done the quest yet :oops: but I think that the rule is to never leave you cat out when you log out. You might have to go get another one, but wait for other people to post before you do so.

I once lost my cat too.. If you log out and in again, and the look in your bank, you should find him (or maybe he'll be following you).

Awh, I know how it is to lose a pet.

I've lagged out before with my cat out of my inventory.. but he has appeared beside me when I log back on. So I don't think that's why it disappeared.

My cat too disappeared when I was P2P. It happened sometime when I either did recruitment drive or when I changed my gender for that quest. It might have something to do with using portals, teleports or changing your appearance.
