How do i put a swf file for my avatar?

I think you can only use gif's for animation on this forum. I dont think this forum has any special thing for embedding swf's as it is a file rather then a picture so people will need the plug-in for it.

How can i string some pics together to make a small animation? And then put it for my avvy though?

use a program with animation facilities, either make them frame by frame on the program or, seperate by saving em 01, 02, 03 etc and importing them into the program.. Set the right framerates and save as an animated gif. It's hard to explain how to animate or how to use a certain program fully over the internet so If your not understanding, don't ask.

I made my animation with flash 8. Can i save that as an animated gif? If so, how?

flash deals with vector and so as an animating program should only really deal with vector stuff imo.. but export, as an animated gif.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

The file size is annoying to keep down in flash.
