Kuroi_Ame
I don't know a whole lot about abstracts but the text doesn't go with everything else, and it seems like all you did was put a few brush strokes on a single-colored background. do u wow?Cassiius|Level 70 Night Elf Preist|RunetotemSambora|Level 37 Tauren Shaman|BurningLegion
funky_nappy
Looks to me like a fractal made in apophysis :? , anyways, it looks alright but it's not particularly inventive, and the text is off centre #-o
cadburys_egg
Hmmmk. [*:4bfrmifc]Background. Up the contrast. Using a brightness and contrast layer, put +~5 brightness, +~20 contrast. Fractals. I don't particularly like them. They're pretty easy, generally can't go wrong but don't get any better. Get some proper brushes. Flat colours are flaaaat. Don't use hue and saturation, use a clouds/gradient layer on overlay. It gives a variation of colour then. [*:4bfrmifc]Text. Font choice... Problem is, that the font matches your render, but conflicts with the background. Try not to overuse outer glow. If you plan to use it, only use it on a low opacity (20~40). When you do your name, don't use an underscore ( _ ), just use a space. Generally, not always, but generally you should only use black or white text. Generally. Which should also have it's opposite as the stroke. If you're going to centre text, make sure it's centered. Use free-transform (CTRL+T) to make sure it's perfectly centered. [*:4bfrmifc]Render. If you're going to use one, atleast blend it. Make sure the render you use is atleast going to match the background. Having a curly, wavey background with whatever anime character that is looking rather evil doesn't particularly look right. Looks to me like a fractal made in apophysis Fractals can be brushed. They don't look any better either way though.

Nadril
Fractals can be brushed. They don't look any better either way though. Generaly the brush sets are made in a program specificly for creating them, however.
