Quite often in the past few days I have noticed that the google text ads featured on this forum have a depressing tendancy to advertise sites that sell RS GP for real world. These sites are of course against the game rules, so why are they allowed to be featured here?

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

I know you have no control over google, but do you have to allow them to feature this?

IMHO there should be a sticky for "why there is illegal ads?" -.-

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

But, as its "ads by google", and if google happens to be 1 advertiser of tip it, they just pop up something, and as you can see, all those ads changes daily (at least does for me :-s )..

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

But yea, guess they dont "allow" those illegal ads to be, i think there here because its googles ads =/ or something.. I dunno..

You've been around since 2004, haven't seen these ads before until the last few days, haven't heard of of the Search Button, haven't been to this forum to see the thousands of posts which have been whining about this since 2004, and haven't seen what the mods have said in reply to those threads, many countless times.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

That's a disgrace. :roll:

Has been away for 18 months, normally uses FireFox with AdBlock so never sees the Ads, and couldn't find a sticky or anything. I don't consider it good forum ettiquette to raise a dead topic.

Please Report bad ads here as you find them.
