Compressed (zipped) files???

I'm no expert, but I think it depends on the file. Somethings, like images can be viewed when in zipped form, but i'm not sure about videos so you're probably just best extracting it and opening it from the new file.

You also don't specify what operating system you're using. XP has native zip support, where you just open it as though it's a directory and then copy & paste the file from within.

they r file compressing programs that u use instead of XPs default

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

if u ever come across a .rar or .7z file your gonna need winrar to unzip it, and a lot of videos come compressed like that

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

you really should use it

Uhm okay I got that winrar thing....now the icons of the files are 3 books....but it still wont let me open it to watch it video =(

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

It'll let me look at the text tho..

You have to "extract" the archive to a folder on your system for the video to be usable. When you open WinRAR there should be an "Extract to" button at the top. Click it, select the folder you want the files stored in and hit ok.

hmm...That didn't make much of a different =S. When I extract it, it makes new files and theyre named the same but instead of 'Winrar ZIP archive' it says 'MOV file'
