I'm no expert on it, but I would make the forest area and such more visible. But good job for a first :)

As I said before, I can't really tell what it is or what you want it to be, so I can't really advise too much.

ok the idea behind it is as goes...

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

close your eyes and dream (well dont close your eyes unless you can telecneticly read....)

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

its a darc place, a forest a jungle or similar. you are walking along exploring with your 'cronies' suddently out of the corner of you eye you capture a glimpse of light. in this darc area it seams strange. intrigued you go too see what is happening. step by step you get closer, the light grows brighter, glowing. you get close to it, you can alomst touch it. its weird, unusaral. youve never seen anything like it before. one of your friends is back behind you, dragging back quite a way, due to alot of heavy equipment. you pick up the object. its very heavy despite its small size. you see the glow it emits despite being solid and not a single light adorns it. you listen to it. like a clockwork pocke[bleep]ch it is ticking in scyn to nature itself. one of your friends asks to look at it, so you let them. as it transfers hand it glows brighter. your friend walking last is still struggling under the massive weight. he feels the darc is closing in on him. a tree root is there across the path, he doesnt see it. a stumble, a trip and hes on the floor, the weight of the equipment crushing down on him. he has a very important object around his neck, he musnt get crushed. hes trying to hold himself up, he calls for help. you hear him as does your friend standing with you, you leave the forenin object and run to help him. the object spins in the air where you left it. you run onwards towards your friend in the ground. tick tick tick. the object spirals towards the ground. a meer blade of glass prods into is at it falls against the ground. everything slows down for your friend on the ground. he see you running towards him, hes struggling under the weight. the light glows brighter. silence. a bright ring of light erupted from where you once were. the trees vaporise. it [bleep]es you in the back. the squarks of small animals scream out everywhere. yet its still silent. a small rodent like creature stumbles foward, you see it. trip after trip, over its own legs. its claws flail around in hurry. you dont understand. nothing but this rodent fills your vision, only a painfuly bright glow. the animal vanishes unto the light.
