faster gold per hour

I'm curious to hear some of the sustained gold-per-hour rates some of you have achieved. I'm sure in merchanting some hours are awesome where others are maybe not so awesome, so perhaps assuming an average over 5 hours or something....

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Does one make more gold per hour at 85 wood cutting (assume dragon axe at magic trees and 1k per magic)?

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Or 85 mining?

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Or merchanting?

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Or alchy?

Magics are very slow to cut. I can manage about 80 logs per hour (so about 80-88k per hour)

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Mining runite.. I'm not sure about. I know you have to do a LOT of server hopping and is probably not a particularily good way to make money. Although I suspect someone who actually has 85+ mining would give you a better answer.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

As for merchanting... it's not an exact science. Sometimes you'll get lucky and make a lot of money really quickly, at other times, you'll really struggle. The main downside with merchanting is that you'll earn no experience, so make sure you've got plenty of stuff to high alch whilst you stand around waiting and watching for opportunistic trades.

it depends what ur merchanting and alchyings, but i would say woodcutting would be the slowest way to make the money, merchanting and alchying being the fastest, because you can die with 85 minning and lose it all

I hear what you're saying about merch but when I merchant iron and coal on f2p/p2p I never really have a problem making approx 500k an hour in large amounts. (10k ores plus)

well, getting 85 mining is wat i want. I hear the 300k-400k and hour is very satisfying. And members have the heroes guild rune rocks too...

but rcing nats is by far the fasted money maker by the time u hit 52 rcing u can esialy do 1.5k nats an hour if u have the three pouches you use

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

on the other hand alching is slow because u are eather losing money or making very little profit unless u made the thing that your are alching your self or made the nats and it takes about 1 hour to do 1k alchs

Depending on what you merchant, you can make different amounts. It also depends how good of a merchanter you are :P

 

 

 

Rune mining can get you around 20-40 ores per hour depending on where you mine. If you mine in p2p at a late/early hour before the crowds come in, you'd probably get a lot more than at the busy hours.

 

 

 

Alching depends on what you alch. Also, it depends on if your supplying it yourself or buying from other people.

yes fleching and alching is money but if u buy bs for 180 each yews for 290ea and nats for 310ea u lose money and if u get luckey and get supllies cheaper u hardley gain anything mabey 50k in 2 hours but ur getting good xp in skills

These rocks are almost always being mined or empty, though, so it's not the best location for rune mining.

I have a friend who mines runite, but its only profitable during the down times when little people are on, because normally all the rocks are mined...and also there's danger of pkers (wildy rocks), but if you manage to get unmined rocks, you should be able to get 1-2 inventories an hour.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

But either way the fastest money I made in an hour was by merchanting power amulets, bought for 5k ea and sold for 8k ea. (I think I made over 150k in about 20 min, but then I ran out of power ammys)
