Wild pies should raise your slayer level by 5, also a mature Slayer's Respite will raise you 5 slayer levels. I am not positive you can use these for the quest but I'm guessing it will work - worth a try :)

In the 5 hours you've been waiting on this thread you could have gotten 2 more slayer levels :lol:

i used the slayers respite and it worked. I killed the snake.
