For starters I am lvl 76 in case you were wondering..

I hear a lot of "pest control is just easy training" but the only thing that ever happens when I play it is I get shunned by higher lvl players. Apparently just because they invited their lvl +90 friends to the world I should leave.

So that's one option down the drain... unfortunately I'd rather find something else to do other than sucking it up and making a large group of players hate me.

So where is a good place to train? I've been Combat lvl 76 for.. I don't even know how long. I hate training, especially for combat, as it's an endless cycle of fishing some food, fighting the same monster repeatedly and getting the same crappy drops, and then repeat.

Can I hear some good ways to train my combat skills?

Officially retired on 12/10/07, no drop parties because that might be "covertly trading wealth". What does one person's happiness(until they quit) mean compared to the hours I wasted while runecrafting, anyways?

Well i'm currently level 78 combat (im making money now) and you should train Slayer & Combat together, they are a good combination, If you don't like slayer, go to the baby blue dragons, there you can train your player fast and combat (these guys dont have any defence) I would suggest to bring 4 attack potions (4), 1 dragon battleaxe, your normal melee equipment, 5 lobster (you never know what can happen) and the rest of the space you can leave it free or put another potions, food, items

I think training combat hand in hand with slayer is a good idea too. You're getting more than just your combat up while training it. It also takes away the boredom of having to kill the same monster over and over again for the xp.

If you don't like Slayer and don't want to get bored fast by killing the same monster and getting the same drops, kill something that drops clues.

This signature is intentionally left blank.

You can also get 130 points when you plus your attack with your strength, and you can access Warrior's Guild, there you can get Rune Defender and clue scroll drops from Cyclops
