I got an assignment for 170 something trolls.I haven't done any quests regarding trolls so is there an area where i can just finish off this assignment? Oh and Im lvl 89, so anything around my evelow or below if there are.

Go to the cave north-east of Relleka that takes you to Keldagrim. Instead of going into the second cave, go south. There are a few trolls there and you don't need a quest to get there.

I would Burthorpe the trolls because they hit hard and their drops aren't stunning.
