the dark face is good you cant see a Ring Wraith aka Black Rider (from Lotr) face either, i like it but you messed up the background with bright spraying..

if it's night there would be no shading, just looks like a very dark place in daylight now ;) change the clouds, or take them away since they don't fit in the perspective you've used.
