Runescape Lag.

Featured Replies

(I remember a Sticky about RS lag... Im not sure where it is though)

I could always play Runescape without lag. About a month ago, this computer crashed... And some technical mechanic installed everything again.

So, I wanted to play runescape. I downloaded the latest version of Java, but everytime I log in to Runescape it just lags to much, more then before the HD crash.

What can I do, I have set the Hardware Speed a bit slower... but that doesnt help.

I use Internet Explorer, if that helps helping me.

Please, who knows how to stop the lagging? :-#

Maybe a possible adware. Make sure you donnot have any pop-ups, if you do that's your problem! If not, unistall all bars on internet explorer, like Yahoo!, google, imesh, etc bar. Remember Webcoolsearch and emoticons are adware with spyware never donwload 'em. You might change world, for example, thw rold 61 works fine for me, but the 7 is freking lagguing because my location. Some tecnicians visit some internet pages and accidentally install some ad ware, You can close all programas running exepting for internet explorer. Try downloading the official Runescape client in the web page, it is what i use. If not use mozilla Firefox instead of that Iman of virus called internet explorer. Remember to download a program called spyware blaster that will help you to donnot visit pages with virus or bad active X.

I hope that helps you.
