I believe the area of wander for vampires is right in haunted woods. Apparently this one appeared out of nowhere from the south and started attacking me.

Strangely with WotLK so near, I wished I could delay it a bit to push through that last TBC content in MH/BT :'(.

... i have seen vampires there before ... not uncommon

It happened to me a couple of days ago, irritating isnt it?

I wasn't too concentrated in watching the screen, the only thing i saw is he started walking towards from the south-west direction

There is a Vampire bat that flies around there while you're farming. He's landed by me and started attacking when I was standing on the north side of the northern most plot. It's not uncommon at all.

How you act when no one is watching is a great indicator of your true self.
