Attack vs. Strength?

Hey sorry if this is done but the search is acting all goofy and says no results for any word i put in sooo... i ask you:

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

does attack make you hit higher more often or just hit in general more often?

 

 

 

or does having higher strength make you hit more high numbers or just give you a higher max hit?

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

by the way...

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

I currently have

 

 

 

60 attack

 

 

 

67/70 strength

 

 

 

45 def

 

 

 

60 hp

 

 

 

and am training strength at flesh crawlers (im f2p) would these stats be good to pk too?

Attack makes you hit more often (e.g., hitting less 0s, more higher numbers more often.) Strength makes you hit higher in total.

If you had 99 attack and 1 strenght, you would hit 1's everytime. If you had 99 strenght and 1 attack, you would hit 32's every one in a million hits. Unless you had enough money for a really good training weapon (whip/d scimmy) stick with strength. It's better for pking/staking anyways.

It's easier to understand if you have played D6D. Attack improves your attack bonus (you are most likely to hit) and Strength improves the die you hit (your hit range is larger).

If you want to level up 1 level attack + 1 level strengh + 1 level defence you better use the whip in controled all the way. That will save you 20% of the time needed to do the same thing with diferent weapons and diferent stiles.

 

 

 

So don't waste time with other weapon other then whip (if you can afford of course).

Unfortunately, we're restricted to the F2P world, so it isn't a matter of the affordability of the whip, more a matter of availability. As for your PKing enquiry, I wouldn't know - I never PK. Maybe you can try posting in the Graveyard Help & Advice section of the forum.
