Whats better

If you could choose between veracs and guthans, which would you buy if money wasnt an option. I wanna buy either one of these sets, but im not sure which would be better.

Guthans is commonly used to train because you can heal yourself with it, while Veracs can hit through prayer/armor, making it good for KQ trips.

 

 

 

However, the price of Guthans is about 2x of Veracs, so if money is an issue I would buy Veracs over Guthans.

 

 

 

(Note: I am f2p, so i'm not speaking through experiences with them, just through the price and abilities of them)

I suppose guthans would be my choice, because it could be used against most monsters of runescape, while veracs is only good in places like the KQ, and PvP areas. I would also consider how much the armor wud be used if i were u.

Well, if you are looking into doing training then buy guthans for sure. You could also start doing slayer and get a black mask for increased training speed. Slayer will make you money.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

On the other side, if you are looking just to have fun, doing Kalphite Queen or fight pits, then you should get veracs. Kalphite is not a 100% money maker... Actually it is a 100% money loser until you get a chain or Dragon 2 Hander.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

I personally reccomend the guthans just because I had a lot of fun getting slayer up, and now at 85 the money is'nt bad either.

So from what I understand unless your opponent is wearing armor or uses prayer, veracs will be useless?

no, verca will hit though it all, so it be no defense and pray comes under that.

Veracs > Guthans for p2p combat. Guthans > Veracs for monster combat.
