nethkhar
Hey everyone, I've been toying with the idea of getting a toolkit to help me with runescape, but so don't know what to get to ensure I'm not scammed. I have seen a few posting on this site with snapshots from these toolkits. One in particular shows a bar with a percentage done. I'm assuming this is a bar to show you how much further you have to go to get to the next level for a given skill. This is what I'm after. Can anyone tell me where to get one. Please I'm so bored with trying to work it out in my head or with scraps of paper. Thanks in advance for advice. Nethie I'm vertically parked in a horizontal universe. pansynator
Toolkits/ 3rd party clients, such as swiftswitch is banned. It has now been made illegal to use any such software. Swiftswitch, probably the most used 3rd party program is safe however. But still illegal. PS. There is skill calculators on the tip.it site. ---Do not ask God for an easy life. icecube
Um, you must have missed the update of that update... Third Party Programs are NOT illegal. You are allowed to use them as long as they abide by JaGEx's new rules for them, such as no automated world switching (into full worlds), unmoderated chat, etc. RSDemon is a cool toolkit. It's mainly only for tracking your stats and stuff though. It provides caclulators and graphs of your experience.

Swiftswitch is not illegal, if it was it wouldn't be still around would it? Jagex has stated that they don't promote the use of any third party clients, but do allow Swiftswitch. Think I'm wrong? Well I guarantee you a GREAT portion of Runescape would be gone if you were right and I was wrong. As for these percentage bars, you would try http://www.draynor.net they're both LEGAL (why would they be illegal? they just show your progress) draynor.net you don't have to sign up for, while rsbandb you do, but remember, if you sign up for any fansite DO NOT use your Runescape password. LJoker
Don't forget that blocking the annoying adverts still is breaking rule 15.
tripsis
I think we're getting a few things mixed up here: Third party clients (i.e. SS and other related programs) are still not allowed on the Tip.it Forums, despite the fact that Jagex is now allowing them (just don't recommend the use of them). But "goal status bars" are not third party clients. Pkmastachaos was kind enough to link you to a few (http://www.rsbandb.com/ and http://www.draynor.net/). The "goal status bars" found on those two sites are not against either Jagex or Tip.it rules. - 99 fletching | 99 thieving | 99 construction | 99 herblore | 99 smithing | 99 woodcutting - - 99 runecrafting - 99 prayer - 125 combat - 95 farming - - Blog - DeviantART - Book Reviews & Blog
