Nenga
Yes my thread is back. I posted it in OT a while back but now it has a home so i'm moving it here, where it belongs. I'll explain it. This thread is dedicated to older video games, that have been forgoten by most but are timeless classics. You can talk about any system below Ps3, xbox 360, nentendo wii, PSP, and GBSP. Ok I'm done. Have fun with this. Ponies!

unknownmasterofnothing
Classics are generally considered either before n64 or before nes. I've played from nes and forward. Genesis was probably the most fun I ever had since I had enough time to play throughout the day and no homework. The sega saturn era was very fun with the virtual games, virtual cop, virtua fighter, virtual on. They need a remake of virtual on, it was seriously a good game concept. It could be applied to gundam games.
Nadril
I loved the saturn :). A great console but the playstation shadowed it. And I would (personaly) consider classics from the NES- begining of saturn/ps1/N64 era. anything further than that is still fairly recently. And yeah, there are plenty before that era but thats what I grew up with. (the NES-N64 era).

You could also mean a game that will live on through the ages, that people will still be playing 20 years from now. It could be as new as a year old. You would call them "modern day classics". Yea classic as in great like the greatest hits. Or classic as in old. Some classic as in great games would be for me, FFVII, Breath of fire III, Super mario kart, double dragon, streets of rage, street fighter, mortal kombat, megaman, sonic, mario bros, metal gear, donkey kong country, toe jam and earl, perfect dark, etc...
