Doomster Posted February 3, 2007 Share Posted February 3, 2007 Unless seelling cannonballs (members), it is impossible to profit from bought steel bars, or even from bought ores. Even mining your own, selling steel bars (at player prices) is more profit than any item, but gives up the lion's share of the smithing XP, though slow but profitable smithing XP can be gained through buying ores and selling bars.
