When I log on to play RS, everything is ok for the first half hour. But after half hour, it starts to lagging. It happens all the time these days. If only I shup down the IE, and launch another IE. It is ok again.

I have used "Disk Cleanup" in system tools of Windows to clean up all the garbages. And also, I deleted cookies, deleted all off-line files, deleted histroies of IE. But it is not help. What should I do now?

Have you ever considered trying out a diffrent Web Browser? I suggest you try it out and see if the problem still occures.

FireFox is my favourite, try it out and see if RS likes it. ^^

Only other reason I can think about is that your Java ain't updated or you just need to reinstall it.

Good luck!

Hear Hear. Firefox is a lot better, even if it does have a slower start up time. Or you could try using the windows client in the downloads section of runescape.com.

Maybe try a different web browser. Or free up some of your RAM by removing useless programs.

Thanks for all your guys. I have downloaded Firefox. It works quite good for the time being. But what is the reason for the lagging in IE? Why it affect RS website only, while have no problem for all the other websites?

Download CCleaner, it will remove all the junk left on your PC from delted stuff as well as any bits which you dont need.

Run a few Disk De[bleep]mentions.

When using there a little mod which will reduce the RAM usage see here.

Most important of all (if you havent already done this), run an antivirus, spyware and adware scans. I recommend Spybot search and destroy and Aw-Aware Personal (both free)
