You_are_dead
Why do people cuts trees? I'm talking about free players. Why? Because free players cannot fletch, and the only need, mainly, for logs is to burn. And thats not very useful (in free worlds). People dedicate an entire file to just cutting trees. What can be worth sitting in one place for half a dozen hours, wearing out your mouse, clicking on pixelated foilage. And also, free players buy them. For what? To burn them, which gains them nothing whilst a free player. and if they plan to become members, why not wait? There are easier, cheaper ways to train firemaking once a member. Dont get me wrong,I am not questioning how much of a life pure woodcutters have, but WHY they do it in the first place. I also have to admire the dedication given by these people. To sit there for hours on end, clicking at some tree, its a miracle they havent gone insane. I am just a bit puzzled. Surely there are funner ways to spend your time on runescape than attacking a tree with an axe?
aaron1120
It is very good money to sell logs from F2P to a member, it is great money for the F2Per. Also, how is there a better way to train firemaking with P2P? IMO woodcutting is the best source of money for F2Pers. Yew logs go for 300gp each. < | Runehead | Learning Java Programming, Please PM Me Tips | Signature by Loaf2000 | >
boffcheese3
There are loads more ways to train it. More fun ways. Just a couple off the top of my head: Shades of Mor'ton minigame Tears of Guthix minigame Multiple quests( eg. Heroes quest, enlightened journey, Enahkras Lament ect.) Loads of different ways. atronic92
Well, f2p'ers do it mainly for the money. Also, I think what he means by easier ways to train fm is by buying logs and spending time making money a faster way, rather than chopping your own. "We will certainly not be gaining money or members with this update. Instead, we are doing this for the good of the game, which is as dear to our hearts as it is to you."- JAGEX, December 13, 2007

Trade_With
There are loads more ways to train it. More fun ways. Just a couple off the top of my head: Shades of Mor'ton minigame Tears of Guthix minigame Multiple quests( eg. Heroes quest, enlightened journey, Enahkras Lament ect.) Loads of different ways. Shades of Mor'ton gives rubbish exp. Tears of guthix is once a week, and fm would have to be your lowest skill. The max exp you could get would be like 7-8k a week.. Quests can only be done once, so it isn't really training.. So burning logs is the best way. F2pers cutting logs is one of the best ways to make cash. @Trade_With
cardovilian
Its so that we can have less than 40 ppl per tree on P2P. Why is 'common sense' so named, when there is so little of it about?Welcome to puberty, we've been expecting you.
