February 7, 200719 yr Basically in the title, Im looking for the best way to make money while partially afk. This means I'll still be at the computer desk, but for the most part, will be doing homework, and can occasionally look up to check on runescape and if any random events occured. Basically, I want to be able to multi task mainly do my homework, while at the same time still be able to play runescape by press a button or so every once in a while. If your still confused, one example would be something like fishing sharks, I can click on the fishing spot, go do my homework, and check back in like 30 seconds to see what happened. Dont mind my skills, as long as they are not crazy requirements (like getting in the high 90's in a skill) I would be willing to raise it if the method required a skill. Bunny Ear and Scythe Owner
February 7, 200719 yr Woodcutting yews or magics Fishing Shark/Monkfish/Lobsters That's about all I can think of off the top of my head. At least it's the things I do when I have to do that oh-so-boring Calculus assignment.
February 7, 200719 yr With your stats, I would say fishing lobsters would be your best bet for mindless training. Also, if you get your woodcutting up, you could chop yews once you get to about 70-75. Chopping willows and doing homework at the same time isn't the best idea; the trees go down to fast, you'll end up sitting there doing nothing (in-game) 60% of the time. So.. just go with fishing at the moment. After you fish, you could cook, but that's not as easy to multi-task with as fishing is. ~Lunar Retired Tip.It Mod || Admin and Founder of Caesar 3 Mod Squad! February 7, 200719 yr Author Well I plan on raising my fishing up very soon, going to buy feathers in bulk. Once I get my fishing up, what type should I fish? Monks or sharks seem like a better choice, but Im not familiar with how fast they are caught to know which one yields better money. Bunny Ear and Scythe Owner
February 7, 200719 yr If you're going for money, then you'll want to fish sharks. But if you want fast experience and inexspensive training food, then go with Monkfish. ~Lunar Retired Tip.It Mod || Admin and Founder of Caesar 3 Mod Squad! All are welcome!
February 7, 200719 yr Author When I fish sharks do I get Swordfish and Tuna as well? Or would I just get sharks? Bunny Ear and Scythe Owner
February 7, 200719 yr You'll only get sharks. They both use harpoons, but Sharks are located at a different fishing spot. You get Sharks from the fishing spot that has a Harpoon and Net option. You'll get tuna and swordfish from fishing spots that have Cage and Harpoon options. ~Lunar Retired Tip.It Mod || Admin and Founder of Caesar 3 Mod Squad! All are welcome!
February 7, 200719 yr Smelting cannonballs is quite good. You don't have to worry about the spot moving, or the tree being cut down. The only dangers are logging out due to inactivity, or randoms (which you have to worry about no matter what you're doing, fishing, cutting, smelting, etc.).
