SirHartlar
I am thinking of purchasing a cannon and some cannonballs with which to train my range. Now, I am not a rich man so I need to find a monster I can break even with costs of cannonballs or even make a profit. It would help if the monster was: i) In multicombat. ii) In a secluded place/not much competition from other cannoners. iii) Gives good drops, which might include alchables or clue scrolls. Thanks to anyone who shares their advice.
pedrahm5
Well hellhounds are easy to cannon and drop clue scrolls quite often, but other than that they don't have any profitable drops (if any at all. I think they just drop bones and clues lol :P).

Yip id say to do that...or maybe daggonaths but those clues that they drop are lvl 2's and arent worth it like the lvl 3's that the hellhounds can only drop other then bones  ~DRUM CLICK - 770th to 99 SLAYER 2/4/08 - 204th to 99 Summoning 7/1/08 CLICK[Hide=List of Drops That I haven't updated in Years but want to keep in my Sig anyways...]VISAGE DROP - 12/06/073 Duo Sara Hilts, 3 Duo Arma Hilts, 2 Trio Arma Hilts.Dark Bows: (11) Dragon Boots: (50!)Whip Drops: (42!!!) SirHartlar
Hmm I wasn't thinking of Dagganoths because the loot isn't great and I wouldn't feel 100% satisfied I would break even. What about Black Demons? There is a safespot in Taverley Dungeon so would it be a good idea to set up a cannon there?
SirHartlar
My question hasn't really been answered, so any more opinions will be appreciated.
Ethiery
Best I can think of, is using it with a bow and ranging the blue dragon beneath the hero's guild. A man who doesn't read, is no smarter than a man who can't read.
hyjack01
Gaining profit with a canon is not possible unless you're extremely lucky with clue rewards. For some serious range experience you need to use multicombatzones anyway.. monsters in these zones (besides the wildy.. 8-) ) hardly have valuable drops.. Use daggonoths for serious experience, but be prepared to spend 200-500k minimum on cballs for some nice action..
