Over a large period of time, yes, it's better. And worst case, you decide you'll stick with rune and just sell the d axe for the same amount you bought for.

Summary of that thread was that it gets better the more you use it.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Peaks at something like 8% more efficiency.

As long as you are paying attention (i.e. making sure the top doesn't fly off) There is no reason you shouldn't have it. The prices are very stable, so there really isn't anything to lose.
