I plan on getting 40 def for my pure. As of now I have 40 atk and 30 def. I know if I do the dragon slayer I will probably gain a couple attack lvl and a couple def lvl and I dont really want more than 40 atk so I was wondering if rune plate is much better then rune chain. Is there a big difference and is it worth it to get?

It's not that much of a difference I don't think, I'll check here in a sec. But it wouldn't hurt I don't think. Chains are only like 30k, pl8s round 60k

Yes, check on the Items DB. Also, I think the prices are closer to 40k and 55k. I'm not sure.

I, personally would say it's worth getting. That bonus might help you in the long run. You never know!

Well dragon slayer gives you strength and defence and from 30 it makes you 40 defence, so keep that in mind, and more strenth exp is good too...

Dragon Slayer only give 18.65k strength and defence XP No attack.

And plus, the dragonhide helps ward off those pesky mages! I'd say go for it, you'll like the healthy dose of Strength XP as well. No attack XP, either!
