iron mines

Featured Replies

what is the closest mine to a banks that contains iron ore. F2P mine

Try either al-kharid or west varrock. west varrock is closer to the bank, but only has 2 rocks. al-kharid has three

or if you want some peace and quiet... mine it north east of yanile 5 or 7 rocks and fairly close to a bank

I would say Dwarven Mines. There's 5+ iron ores to choose from, and the nearby ladder will take you inside Falador. Sure, it's not exactly the shortest, but with 5 ores, I think it's worth the compromise.

1) Varrock east mine - Shortest route to bank

It is usually crowded with low levels so only go there if you "1-hit" the iron ores the most of the time.

There are 4 iron rocks, I suggest concentrating on the three upper ones.

2) Rimmington mine (South of falador) - Quiet spot

A quiet mining spot, not to far from the falador bank.

Good place to train when you don't "1-hit" the ore everytime.

Varrock mine is the closest to bank, but you could also use the rimmington mine which is a little further from (falador) bank, but with teleportation runes you can easy reach it very quickly.
