Zoob
Hi all Is weapon speed the same regardless of what the weapon is made from? Example - bronze b axe hits the same speed as dragon b axe? Cheers Teh Zoob

aaron1120
Yep, but there are some exceptions such as special attacks (the Dragon Dagger special, the Granite Maul special). < | Runehead | Learning Java Programming, Please PM Me Tips | Signature by Loaf2000 | >

LJoker
They have all the same speed in each category but some like Dragon dagger and Dragon halberd have a special option that make them work faster.
Caledor
I think my question fits into this thread. What's the better weapon to use when training - rune scimitar or rune battle axe? Is it just a matter of preferance or is one weapon slightly better than the other? I saw that battle axe has better stats so I'll probably be able to make more damage and thus gain more xp, but since the scimitar is faster it's a hard choice. Which one is your favourite? Doing it so I've found for my self r scimy + ammy str the best option, making me win more exp because i can kill more monsters in 15min.

Goobore
...What's the better weapon to use when training - rune scimitar or rune battle axe?Scimmtars are the best weapons for training. It also depends on the defense armor of the monster. For example: City Guards wearing chain are weak against a stab attack. The Baxe and scimmy are good for slash but weak for stabbing. So to fight thoses guys, you would probably do better with a long sword. So, really, you have to know: -- the speed of your weapon -- the strength of your weapon -- and what the weakness is in your enemy in order to pick the best weapon to use. Hope this helps
