leveling up agility?

Featured Replies

I'm 71 agility, and want to get it higher. I was wondering which course I should use to train. Thanks!

Correct, heres a guide about agility, and it has a section for 71 agility.

Level 71 and Beyond

Many people quit training agility at level 70, since there aren̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢t really any good shortcuts after that. There are, of course, shortcuts above 70, but I'm not convinced that the slight advantage they give is really worth all the training. But if you want to get up above 70, here's how to proceed.

My agility isn't that high compared to the real agility fans out there, but I have done my homework. Without exception, everyone suggests the Ape Atoll course after level 70. I do not recommend you do this course before level 70. When you factor in the failures, and the time each failure penalizes you, the arena is still faster.

You will still have failures until level 75, but will not fail after that level. One player reports that he started there at lvl 88, and has gone to lvl 93, so far with no failures (thanks zuzu snaps!)Here is the proper tactic:

  • [*:3civmq0a]Bring along a knife and you can pick/cut the nearby pineapple to restore health when you get low. (thanks Steve2136)

[*:3civmq0a]Set yourself to run and bring along some super energy restore potions. They'll last a pretty long time, and you will go much faster.

[*:3civmq0a]Don't forget your ninja greegree, and if you do forget it, you'd better hope you didn't also forget your exit teleport!

[*:3civmq0a]Most of your failures will come bunched together. That is, you'll go around the course five times with no failures, but on the sixth time you'll fail three obstacles. Don't get discouraged. (Unless you're level 50 and fail every circuit. Then you can get discouraged.)

[*:3civmq0a]Here's your proper inventory when you get ready to go (I would put a hunter cape on here, but I haven't gotten my hunter level up yet):

(obviously, the boots will be a bit more helpful if you equip them. And don't forget your hunter cape if you've got one.)

[*:3civmq0a]You can also keep your Health Restore prayer on, and occasionally go recharge prayer at the nearby altar. (thanks sessie)
