Where I live you have to commit an offense to get it and its picking rubbish up off the roads.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

schools require you to do a certain amount of community service. In middle school I think i had to do 10 yrs a year. In high school I think it was 10 a year, but I think I made some of the hours up.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

For high school its supposed to be 10 hours per year for four years totalling 40 hours :D

Nobody has mentioned this, but you can go clean firetrucks at your local fire station. Firemen are rather friendly.

I've worked at an animal shelter and helped out an old lady.

I like going down to Mississippi and helping people.

I did walks for hours, like the aids walk and march of dimes. Also I helped out in school for teachers.

Yea if teachers need some homework/tests to grade. Or filing to be done. Or at the end of the year, taking posters down and putting books back for them. Or tutoring people in math.
