1.0- Notes

I will start by saying that this suggestion used to be ghost banking and item tagging, well I decided to re-write the entire thing to be bigger and better, I even have whole new idea for this suggestion, which is basically creating sections throughout your bank. F.A.Q added 1st February 2007. This Suggestion is from Runescape community forums, i decided to post it here aswell. So dont lock this. The original thread is Here (RSC)

3.0- Blank Banking

'Blank Banking' is, to but it blankly simple, just like a shop anywhere in Runescape. For example, you go to the general store in Lumbridge and buy all 5 new-comer maps, the 5[item] turns to 0[item]. Unlike a bank, which makes that item just disappear.

demobk4.png

[Fig. 1]

As seen in figure 1, there is a blank banking tab, which turns the mode on and off, this mode means when you withdraw all of an item, it will leave the blank item behind. When turned off, a warning message will appear telling you that if you turn this mode off, all blank items will vanish, as seen in figure 1.1.

[Fig 1.1]

This means that if you withdraw all your money, then come to put some money back in, it remains where it was when you first withdrew it, rather than sinking to the bottom slot in your bank, which most do not like. Of course if you don̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢t like this you can just have it off, and when you turn the mode on, its stays that way, even if you log off, it will only change back if you turn it off manually.

[Fig. 2]

This option allows you to delete singular Bank Saves (the slot) rather than deleting them all by turning off the mode. This would save a lot of time if you are organizing your bank, this item is examinable, you would get the following message:

examine.png

[Fig. 2.1] - Thankyou for the examine idea The Raider

This mode will make you be able to store every item in the game as a blank item, seeing as they account for nothing, they don̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢t take up bank space, but if you try to enter something into it when you hit the usual bank limit, it will stop you, even if you have the blank item.

4.0- Bank Categorization

This is where you can add 'sections' to your bank and jump to each ones, though you would have to remember the numbers of the categories. The names of these categories can be dragged and relocated, dragging all items under that heading with it, making mass re-arrangement a 10 second job. Combined with the bank saving mode you can create a bank where you can easily re-arrange and find your items by either entering a number or simple dragging things around.

When you delete a section (x button) all items in that category go into an unsorted near the bottom, items can easily be moved from section to section by simply dragging the item into each. There is a maximum of 20 sections. The sections can be named whatever you want, censors don̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢t apply, as public won't see these, and you don̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢t want it messing up your names.

If you feel anything is needed in this suggestion, please say so, and if you think there̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢s something wrong with it, say what, I can make this suggestion brilliant within time, help me do so.

6.0- F.A.Q

  1.

    [*:t65e4wrv]Can I withdraw a blank item?

Blank items do not have a withdraw option, they don̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢t have a left click option, you need to right click to do anything to it (the only option being Destroy)

[*:t65e4wrv]If I destroy the blank item do all of that item I have disappear?

No, you can only destroy the blank item if there are none of that item deposited.

[*:t65e4wrv]What if I am a member, make loads of blank items, then become a free player, can I keep and use all those spots?

When membership is over for over a week, all blank items will be destroyed automatically.

[*:t65e4wrv]Won̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢t there be a lot of glitches with this idea?

Its highly doubtful, as this idea works just like a normal shop would, and there are no bugs in shops that I am aware of. Unless you point out a glitch in Runescape̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢s current stores and trade system I have total confidence in this suggestion.

[*:t65e4wrv]Don̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢t you think this is a rip off of the bank tabs suggestion?

For a start, I am the original for the Blank items idea, and the main idea of this is that, other suggestions have incorporated my idea into there̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢s without my permission, I also like this idea more, because it is simple. Tabs are complex, and annoying to go through all the time, I used to have a program like it, it annoyed the hell out of me.

[*:t65e4wrv]If I hit 12, to go to section 12 of my bank, wont it just type it in my chat box?

The system would make it so, if you type a number, it will be made on both your section selection, and your chat box, if you type a second number, the same will happen, if you type a third, or a letter anywhere between, it will just go into your chat box.

Exactly, someone see's the point im tryingto get across, this is an alternative to the common idea of tabbed banking, becuase personally, i would hate tabs, they are so arkward to move about, with my bank its organised the the extent I just click a place on my scrollbar and i can see the item i want, im so used to my system.
