February 18, 200719 yr I'm looking for a free program for mac that I can use to put a series of photographs together into a movie. Not a slideshow, that's too slow. I've tried using iMovie, but it won't let me import anything. (I've tried JPG, MOV, and MPG files, nothing worked. Care to help me out? February 22, 200719 yr The Gimp can do this if you create each frame in a different layer and save as a GIF Link
February 23, 200719 yr The Gimp can do this if you create each frame in a different layer and save as a GIF Link Yep GIMP is great all round and the frame animation option helps a bunch. If you do download GIMP and have a decent connection, I recommend downloading GAP and GIMP help files too (GAP is a animation add on for gimp) [hide=Drops]Dragon Axe x11Berserker Ring x9Warrior Ring x8SeercullDragon MedDragon Boots x4 - all less then 30 kcGodsword Shard (bandos)Granite Maul x 3Solo only - doesn't include barrows[/hide][hide=Stats][/hide]
February 24, 200719 yr Author Okay, I've downloaded GIMP and it says I need the "x11.app" from the OSX install disc. How do I get this without reinstalling my OS? You only have to type four extra keys for me to not think "ur" an idiot.solardeathray.teensupergenius.com
February 24, 200719 yr Author I've downloaded the x11.app installer from apple's website. Now it tells me that I can't install x11 on my computer because I "already have newer software installed." If I have a newer version of this thing, then I should be able to run GIMP, right? Yet somehow I can't. February 24, 200719 yr Did you download the one for your version of Mac OS X? On your OS installation disc, click optional installs, and install X11 from there. No need to reinstall the OS
February 25, 200719 yr Is this program also for windows? Oh, speaking of windows, there's a really awesome free stickfigure animator for windows called pivot. Google it if you want it, I can never find a reliable link that works more than once.
February 25, 200719 yr Is this program also for windows? Even the slightest bit of looking at the GIMP website would show you a link to the windows page. Sometimes I think people are blind.
