is there a safespot in slayer dungeon for pyrefiends? or should i just melee?

If you melee, just wear d hide and mystic boots and elemental shield, or some other combination with a good mage defense.

If you stand on 7 and range over the rocks (X) then they can't move from the spot (O). But ONLY on the Os.

Along the wall that has the basilisks on the other side. There are 2 piles of rocks you can stand on and on either side of them there are 2 you can't. You can use corners or range across the 2 blocking rocks. It's pretty easy once you get the hang of it and they're relatively vulnerable to range.
