I'd stick to rune, it's much cheaper and you can save that money for barrows gloves since they're just as expensive as dragon.

Well... my rs name (Hope Angel4) is kind of a long story. I was 14 when I picked it and Angel sounded cool. It's from a 3 book series called His Dark Materials, the angels in those books aren't holy warriors or fighters of God. They're very similar to humans, and divided into two groups: one fighting for God, and one fighting for wisdom and freedom. I liked the freedom group so I picked Hope. 4 is just my favorite number. Now I hate the name but my account is too good to give it up. I did make a noob account called Risika66. That's from a book called In the Forests of the Night. Risika is a vampire who got turned against her will and fights to retain her sense of humanity in spite of having to survive on blood. The 66 is because Risika was already taken and I didn't want people jumping at me for picking 666.

Nice read, though the editor might want to check up on current prices. And not everything is going down, when I started playing bowstrings were 100 gp each, now it's difficult to buy below 180 each. I think more players coming in is definitely a big part of the problem, it would help if Jagex did something like what WoW already uses and split players between different worlds. Such as split half the users who log on after a certain date into a new set of worlds and let the other half join the existing ones.

Great article, I couldn't agree more. RS is sadly turning into a babysitting world for kids ages 10 and below, when they're not even supposed to be playing the game. Jagex is exceptionally unfriendly towards player feedback, they don't seem to realize that if their website had the same stuff 3rd party software does, maybe they wouldn't be in this mess right now. Now how long will it be before Jagex contacts Tip.It to say that they're offended by the article and threaten legal action? Remember what happened last time there was a controversial article about Jagex's treatment of players?

I always remembered that I trained someplace with cows and a bunch of trees outside the field where I trained firemaking and cooking. I could never find the place until farming came out and I finally had a reason to go to the draynor farm. After I got to about lvl 20 in all my melee skills a guy came by and offered me some stuff. Then he said follow, at first I tried walking after him with clicks until he explained about the right-click follow option. I kept walking away because we were going north and I thought he'd take me into wildy, but he just brought me to varrock and gave me some more stuff. He pretty much showed me the entire game, from taking me to catherby to explaining about rock crabs for combat training. We're still friends. I also remember when 2 months after I started playing I finally figured out you could rotate the camera and it was possible to walk by clicking on the minimap :oops:

Along the wall that has the basilisks on the other side. There are 2 piles of rocks you can stand on and on either side of them there are 2 you can't. You can use corners or range across the 2 blocking rocks. It's pretty easy once you get the hang of it and they're relatively vulnerable to range.

Wildy, you fail ape atoll a LOT below lvl 65.

how much do rannar seeds go for? and i was thinkin more of the lines of makin my own p pots when i needed them, but sellin is a good idea too lol Last time I checked they were around 20k each, and since you get an avarage of about 5-6 ranarrs per seed (with magic secateurs, not sure what happens without them) that's an ok profit. Not much but you do get the farming and herblore exp with it.

Farming is definitely a good idea, if you can farm ranarrs you can just buy the seeds for them and make a profit selling p pots.

Farm your own herbs or kill banshees or chaos druids for them. Buy secondary ingredients.

Sell to the general store, it's faster than burning. And a lot of people who cut and sell do it by lumby, there's a couple of willow trees around the lake west of the sheep field.

I'm pretty sure you don't get exp if it's declined, otherwise mages wouldn't need volunteers to cast teleother on.

You can also run ess for someone with 91 rc, they normally give pretty decent amounts of nats.

Chances are it's part of the mourner's oufit or the gas mask from plague city that you're seeing. It's impossible to wield both the face mask and coif at the same time. For the third question: it's a tradeoff between the scimmy and long. The long is more powerful and has a better spec but the scimmy is a lot faster and still has decent stats. You pick which you prefer.

I'm scared that having different-language servers is going to split the game community apart by language. I love being able to meet people from all over the world, and introducing the game in different languages will mean that everyone is just going to stick to their own server. I like the idea that I can meet someone and become friends with them even though they live on the other side of the planet. For me the release of other languages also presents the particular problem that if they release Dutch servers I'll have to choose which language I'm going to use in-game. I like having a home world that I always play on because it makes meeting people much easier, I don't want to be forced to choose between a world with Dutch people and an international world.

I'm pretty sure experiments have the highest ratio with 4. something and rock crabs are next with 3.8 or 3.9. Not sure about the exact numbers but I do know those are the highest I've seen.

You can also try hanging around in the ogre cage of the lathas training grounds. People who are ranging there usually don't pick up their drops and the ogres give plenty of seeds of all kinds.

I think the bait fishing there is for cave eels, it would make sense but I've never actually tried it so I don't know for sure.

I'm guessing that since randoms exist to fish out macroers you'll have a bigger chance of getting one if you're in a spot where people normally macro like the fishing guild or the yews south of seers.
