i have fished dragon slayer but i teleported bac, ned is bac but i dont have my boat, does anyone kno how i can get it bac??? :pray: :pray: :pray:

You dont get your boat back after you've finished the quest.

If you want to return to Crandor you will have to walk through the Karamja Volcano (northern climbing rope).

The normal way to return to Crandor Island is to use the secret door under the

 

 

 

Karamja volcano. Did you remember to open it from the Crandor Island side first?

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

IIRC, if you die when you are with the dragon then you can refix the boat and try again.

 

 

 

If you kill Elvarg then, maybe the door is unlocked for you automatically.

 

 

 

Try it and see.

 

 

 

Otherwise there would be a bunch of angry players that could never reach Crandor Island.

If you want to know, before the update of port sarim and rimmington area, you use the boat again, required repairing everytime. It was before construction so it wasnt convenient.

yes i was was just checkin after i wrote the 1 b4 it worked just go to were the deadly red spiders were in karamja dougen and ur character will open the do, you will be near lesser deamons but run north and you will be near elvarg again, climb up the rope u will be on top of crandor isle. ( i think you can only go through the wall if u have done dragon slayer) thx evr1 :D :D :D

The secret door is on the other side of the cage, you never pass it when going from Crandor to Elvarg

I teleported out right after killing Elvarg, but I can still go through the door. Looooong time since I did that quest....

i did not use the door from the crandor side i teleported bac straight away, u dont have to open the door after killin elvarg u can go there from the karamja side aswell. (you still have to pay 30gp to go to karamja :cry: ) i will go and see if my boat is still on the island and if i can fix it.

i dont htink you can fix the boat, does anyone know a way to fix it? :-k

As I understand it, the options are:

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

1. First time, get Ned the map and fix the boat.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

2. You did not kill Elvarg, and teled or died - Repair the boat again, Ned still has the map.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

3. You killed Elvarg - the door is automatically released, and the boat cannot be used.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

4. You do not attempt Elvarg, and go and open the secret door - not sure if that ends the boat, but it opens the passage.

Yes, I think that we know that already.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Opening the door first is a smart thing to do in case you fail in killing Elvarg.

 

 

 

Smart players go past Elvarg's lair to open the door before attemping Elvarg.

 

 

 

That way, if they fail, they don't have to go back and do the whole fix the boat thing.

 

 

 

They just try again later from the Karamja Island side...

after the quest the boat is useless

You finished the quest so you don't need that boat anymore since the door is open.

 

 

 

IIRC, it's back in Port Sarim and has been renamed "Clarence's Cruiser"

 

 

 

You can think of the boat that is wrecked on Crandor Island as someone else's...

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

BTW, I hope that you kept the key to get in Melzar's maze.
