"converting" into a member

Hi. I just have some questions about going into members world. I have more then 1 so im posting it all on 1 topic

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

When i become a member (again), should i get full verac, dharok, whip, fury. How much do these cost? Which ones better to get? Verac or Dharok?

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

I was thinking about doing Recipe for disaster. Is it REALLY hard? Is it worth doing + Dsert treasure? ( I want the cool gloves)

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Im trying to raise strength. In F2p, whats the best spot? Stats in my sig. When i become a member, whats a good way to train strength? I know that the whip doesnt have a Agressive option (if it did it would be awesome! :mrgreen: )

1. If you can afford them, definitely. They're great for places like castle wars and fight pits (Though I don't see much point in a whip if you're going to get verac and dharok). Last I checked :

 

 

 

Verac ~ 4.9-5.1m

 

 

 

Dharok ~ 3.6-3.8m

 

 

 

Amulet of fury ~ 4.7-4.9m

 

 

 

Whip ~ 1.6-1.7m (They dropped)

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

2. Not hard with a quest guide, just long and annoying. If you're a guide person like me, use Tip.It all the way until end battle, then switch to RuneHQ. They give some pretty good armour ideas for it. Desert treasure is definitely worth it, especially since you also need it to get those precious barrow gloves.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

3. F2P? No idea. P2P would be Dagannoths or PC with a dragon scimitar. Pretty much depends on whether you're old- or new-school.

Thanks for your detailed answer. I thought it would be cool to go kamikaze with full charoks in CW then figured out that you cant wear the helm (bummer). Whip prices DID go down from last time i was a member. It used to be like 3.4? The good thing is that i already did monkey maddness when i was a member (took me a couple tries to find the safe spot for maging). When i buy expensive stuff, im usually worried that the prices will drop and ill lose money (longest i kept full sara was 3 days).
