Ok i have tried killing metal dragons in all 3 combat style

 

 

 

but which is the best i should use?

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

ok here is what i know.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

75 Mage:

 

 

 

most expensive.. im gonna use fire bolt with chaos gloves. kills them pretty fast and can stay there as long as i got runes and anti fires

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

96 Ranged with pot:

 

 

 

mith knives.. and can stay there as long i got knives and antifires. Not sure on cost

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

52 prayer 74 Att and str with pot :

 

 

 

Cheaper i guess. Kills them pretty normal.. and cant stay there long as i need prayer pot... i use whip with 14 prayer bonus

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

so which should i use?

With those stats, I would say range for sure

I would NEVER range metal dragons. Even if you've drank an antifire pot, their fire breath will still hit you constantly.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Against metal dragons, antifire pots and shield are essential. For this reason, you can only mage or melee them.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

I've tried both and would recommend mage for sure provided you have a powerful spell. I wouldn't use anything less than Fire Wave myself.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

If you insist on melee, take the best prayer boosting armour you've got.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Sorry, I don't have a picture of my mage setup.

Use either mage or range. Range will probably have quicker kills for you. And it's less expensive. So if your purely going for the drops then use range. Use mage if you want some nice magic levels :)

ermm i am using a 1 handed mith knives

umm, range hands down, unless you need exp in something else, defiantly go with range.
