nicrune007 Posted February 26, 2007 Share Posted February 26, 2007 ok sorry about that stupid title :D Ok first and foremost... imagine you did 100 barrows trip and used melee with 10 kill count so you get to keep the runes and racks... take that number and divide by 100 how many of each runes i get... i am just trying to find out what is the average drop every 10 kill trip. And what is the price of all the barrows item.. add up together and divided by 24. i am just trying to find out the average price of each item... ok now... METAL DRAGONS... what is the odds of Dragon legs dropping from an IRON dragon? Last of all... which one is actually a better money earner? gspbeetle Posted February 26, 2007 Share Posted February 26, 2007 you cant really compare them... if you dont get a decent drop barrows, you lose little or no money, even you only have 6 kills...(keep coins, sell off the chaos runes) but if you didnt get a decent drop from metal dragons, you certainly lose a lot of money...( anti-fire / arrows) Examine ChenGMT (level: 138) Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Freesia Posted February 26, 2007 Share Posted February 26, 2007 Definitely barrows. 1) Each barrows run is definitely shorter than a metal dragon trip. 2) If you're expriencing a dry barrows run, the least you can do is sell the runes to break even for supplies. If you're expriencing a dry metal dragon run, the rune/addy weapons/limbs etc will pay for the supplies. Metals are known to love dropping rune javelins. 3)Best reward you can get from barrows is a 5.5m guthan spear. Best reward from metal dragon is a d legs up to 2.5m, 2nd best a dragon skirt worth less than 1m compared to v helm worth 2.2m in barrows? 4)I find myself boring out fast fighting metals over a extended period of time, mainly you get annoyed when you are getting very poor hits. That's just all my opinion, though. You're still playing with luck Strangely with WotLK so near, I wished I could delay it a bit to push through that last TBC content in MH/BT :'(.
