Featured Replies

Hello, I'v been trying to downlaod wow for awhile now.. and im having very slow progress.. It says that my computer appears to be behind a firewall.

I looked on the website and it said I needed to open up some ports. So I did and 1 hour later It's still going extremely slow...

sorry, if this is the wrong forum.

I assume your using the Blizzard Downloader client?

If you are.... All downloads using Blizzard downloader are slow... It is stated on http://www.wow-europe.com on why Blizzard downloader gives you a slow download rate. - There is no fix for this, you have to deal with it, or find another download link from fileshack or something.

ooooooh, thanks #-o .. It's at A little over one gig now.. I'll just leave it download while i go to school.....BTW I don't use dial-up....

The game shouldn't take long to install because its straight from discs. All the updates take a while, their downloader is horrible. For the big patches you can normally find mirrors.

Yeah I don't use their downloader unless its just like a small 3mb patch or something, its horrible.

Just look online for mirrors when you can, they are everywhere.

I downloaded this, it took just over 5hrs, diable the peer to peer and you should be fine. enjoy the demo :)
