Try to find a monster you like in the Stronghold of Security, perhaps Ankou.

Lesser Demons are also good to train on.

If you want good loot then

kill Moss Giants, Ice warriors, Ice Giants, Lesser Demons, or even Greater Demons.

If you want fast exp then

kill monsters in the second or third levels of the SoS.

Hope this helps

Giant Spiders - Stronghold of Security - Level 3 - Experience + speed.

Lesser Demons - Karamja Volcano/Crandor - Drops

Ice giants, (Or so I have heard) Are the best experience for F2P meleers. Wildy ice giants (wear normal rune, with or without helm, str, ammy, any boots or gloves, and a cape.) Or in the Rimmington dungeon (Wear whatever you like).
